Product Details

70cl - 43% ABV vol

A very well-balanced gin, with a hint of floral botanicals providing an uplifting feeling of walking through a summer garden. The gin, however, remains a recognisable London Dry traditional gin.

The floral notes are not perfumed in nature and don’t appear too soon on the nose. It is not until the gin reaches the tongue that the richness of the floral botanicals come alive.

The floral signature lingers on the pallet but is tamed by a delicate dry herbal finish.

Please drink responsibly.

The Chief Medical Officers' guidance for both men and women recommends adults do not regularly drink more than 14 units per week

THE PERFECT SERVE:

Fill your chilled glass with big ice cubes. Add a double measure of Lumber’s Bartholomew Country Garden Gin.

Pour Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic gently on a bar spoon to keep the fizz.

Garnish with a few juniper berries and a sprig of rosemary. This also works very well with a good Indian tonic.

PARTNER BIO & TRACEABILITY:

Lumber’s Bartholomew 137 Gin is a series of independently distilled spirits produced at the 137 Distillery on Bartholomew Street by landlord and Master Distiller, Pete Lumber. The distillery is fiercely independent and the first of its kind in Newbury, Royal Berkshire.

Every element of the 137 Distillery is unique and personal. Pete’s vision remains at the core of the entire range and brand. From the distinctive logo and strong brand identity, to the impressively bold and beautiful copper still on which all his gins are still hand-curated, Pete continues to tell his story through his gin.
