FAQ's

Orders:​

- Can I add to or edit my order after I’ve booked and paid for it?

  • Yes, absolutely. You’re order can be amended up until 4pm GMT the afternoon before your scheduled delivery

 

- What if something I have ordered is no longer in stock?

  • In the event of an inventory issue, meaning your desired item is not available, we will contact you immediately to inform you, and offer you either a replacement item, or a refund for the item

 

- Will you remind me of specials available before my delivery cut off?

  • We most certainly will. You’ll receive a reminder from us the day before your scheduled delivery to remind you that you have until 4pm GMT to add to your order, and include any specials that may have come in since you’re order 

 

- Can I make special requests for suppliers to source or pre-order?

  • Most definitely! We’d love to accommodate any special requests or pre-orders for our suppliers. Simply send us an email at Contact@MyLocalLarder.co.uk with the details of what you are looking for, and we’ll do the heavy lifting from there, and let you know what options we can source for you through our brilliant local businesses.

Delivery:

- Can I change my delivery day?

  • Yes - pending availability you can request to move your booking to the next delivery day, or alternatively the following week. Email us Order@MyLocalLarder.co.uk or call us on 07884365030 to arrange.

 

- What if I am not in for delivery?

  • That’s no problem at all! When you schedule your delivery with LoLa, you can include a note of a safe place for us to leave your delivery in the event that no one is home, or with a particular neighbour. Please note, once delivered, LoLa can take no responsibility for the care of the items.

 

- How do I check if you deliver in my area?

  • Head to our Delivery page, where you’ll see a map of the current delivery radius. Alternatively on the same page, enter your postcode into the locator, and we can tell you specifically if your postcode falls within our current delivery radius.

  • If you do not fall within the radius at the moment, but are close by, please do email us at Contact@MyLocalLarder.co.uk and we’ll see what can be done to accommodate you.

  • If you’re in a different area, but would love LoLa to be available where you are, head to our ‘Subscribe’ page and tell us where you are so that we can prioritise your area for our upcoming expansion.

 

- How much does delivery cost?

  • Our delivery fee is £4.99.

 

- What if I am outside the delivery area?

  • If you do not fall within the radius at the moment, but are close by, please do email us at Contact@MyLocalLarder.co.uk and we’ll see what can be done to accommodate you.

  • If you’re in a different area, but would love LoLa to be available where you are, head to our ‘Subscribe’ page and tell us where you are so that we can prioritise your area for our upcoming expansion.

Returns:

- What is your policy for returns of non-perishable items?

  • Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us at LoLa. For non-perishable item returns we will arrange for a collection and replacement of these items as soon as possible (for both the supplier and the customers availability) at no additional cost to you.

 

- What is your policy for returns of perishable items?

  • Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us at LoLa. Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund for any perishable items that you change your mind about after your delivery, unless there is something wrong with the item. In the case that there is an issue with product, such as quality or damage, please call us on 07884365030 or email us at Order@MyLocalLarder.co.uk as soon as possible, so that we can replace or refund the item immediately.

  • Our returns policy is in accordance with statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Suppliers:

- Can I request a product or supplier not currently featured?

  • Yes please! We would love to hear of brands you would like to see on LoLa so that we can keep expanding and bringing you delicious, local produce.

 

- How do I get my brand on LoLa?

Recycling & Waste:

- What do I do with my cardboard delivery trays and empty bottles? 

  • We love this question! Our delivery cardboard trays and our suppliers glass bottles are all recyclable, and with each new delivery we would be thrilled to take these away for you to ensure they have a second (third, fourth, hundredth) life, with our zero waste mission.

  • The packaging the fresh meat and fish is wrapped in are also recyclable and reusable - we encourage you use the paper as baking paper when you cook these items and others. Most food produce will wipe off the paper, making it usable to cook other food products.

 

- When do you collect my LoLa Luxe subscription crates? 

  • Each time we bring your next order, we collect your previous order LoLa Luxe subscription crate, so that you are always left with one in between orders.

COVID-19:

- How does LoLa ensure COVID-19 safety with deliveries?

  • We take food safety and hygiene very seriously, and have taken extra special measures to ensure COVID-19 security when handling and delivering all LoLa products. All those in contact with the produce at any point of the process are gloved and masked throughout the entire handling period; our crates, warehouse and delivery vans are professionally disinfected regularly; and we offer a contact free delivery service.

  • Everything is delivered directly to your house from our warehouse by our own lovely LoLa delivery team in a COVID secure ‘white glove’ delivery service - meaning there are no middle men/couriers involved our service.
